Legal Market Watch gathers legal vacancies and career moves published across the Belgian legal market and presents them in a single, consistent format.
It is an observation tool. Lawdle is not the employer behind the vacancies listed here, and does not handle applications for them.
Every item comes from a publicly accessible source, most often an employer's or a firm's own announcement. The source is named on each entry, and a link takes you to the original.
Announcements are not reproduced. Each entry carries a short summary written for Market Watch, together with the criteria stated in the original announcement: practice areas, experience, requested languages and place of work.
When a piece of information is missing, unclear or contradictory, it is left out rather than guessed. An empty field means we did not have reliable information, never that the requirement does not exist.
Two dates are used, and they are not interchangeable. « Published » is the date carried by the original announcement. « Spotted » is the date on which we came across it, used only when the publication date is unknown.
Only vacancies that are still open are listed. A vacancy that has been filled, closed or withdrawn disappears from the lists, from the filters and from the counter.
Alongside vacancies, Market Watch follows career moves in the Belgian legal market: arrivals, departures, promotions and appointments, presented in the same restrained format.
Market Watch is designed and operated with respect for applicable data protection, intellectual property and other relevant legal requirements.
In practice, that means: only publicly available professional information is used; announcements are summarised rather than reproduced; the source is always named and linked; restrictions set by a source are respected; and any request for correction or removal is examined.
The original announcement always prevails. If an entry differs from its source, the source is right and we will correct the entry.
